Celebrating a 15th-anniversary milestone: Nearly 5,000 acres of wetlands have been restored, thanks to efforts of Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana.
"Through a habitat restoration program established 15 years ago, a Baton Rouge-based nonprofit has restored 4,500 acres of wetlands in south Louisiana, organizers announced during a meeting Tuesday in Thibodaux.
