In WA, thieves stole 100 lb. frog sculpture off the street; was to be auctioned off in fundraiser for Bainbridge Island nonprofit.

"A Bainbridge Island non-profit is desperate for help as it hunts a thief with an eye for unique art.  The thief would also need the strength to get away with a nearly one hundred pound sculpture. The piece of artwork is a hand-painted frog dressed in newspaper clippings and a Superman t-shirt, nicknamed 'Clark Kent'.  For the past few months, it had been on display at Seattle's Ferry Terminal. It is one of 35 frogs the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association planned to auction off on Saturday, as part of the organization's biggest fundraiser in decades." -- Heather Graf, KING5.com
