FL nonprofit Angels for Allison was started by parents who lost a child; so far, they've helped 100 families plan and pay for children's funerals.

"When 15-year-old Allison Haramis (pictured below) died in a car accident on the way home from the Episcopal School of Jacksonville, the last thing her parents could even think about was planning her funeral. Months after her death, her mother realized she must not have been alone.  Fortunately, she and her husband were able to manage the costs of burying their daughter. But there are many families who simply can't afford it.It's the reason Angels for Allison was created. To date, the nonprofit organization has helped 100 families pay for burial costs." -- Jennifer Waugh, News4Jax.com
