High school students in Lincoln, Nebraska took the joy o' the Irish to do charitable works in their hometown; they hope to build a St. Patrick's Day tradition of giving to their community.

"Students with Malcolm High School’s National Honor Society delivered 100 bags of personal items to the Homeless Prevention Center in Lincoln Tuesday afternoon.

"It was the school's way of celebrating St. Patrick's Day by giving back. Student's collected green toiletries—like toothpaste, mouth wash and soap to donate."--Kristen Bauer, 1011Now.com
