The Knight Foundation has pledged $1 million in grants to foster nonprofit journalism, in partnership with the Investigative News Network.
"The John S. and James L. Knight Foundation will invest $1 million to foster innovative approaches to sustainability among nonprofit and public media organizations, the foundation said on Tuesday. The Knight Foundation will partner with the Investigative News Network, a collaborative of over 90 nonprofit journalism outlets, in the newly formed INNovation Fund.
