Ward 5 Code Camp: Milwaukee nonprofit will teach coding classes, to help expand the skill sets and employment chances of area job seekers.

"A nonprofit Milwaukee group that runs two start-up training programs  plans to begin offering classes early next year in how to write computer code. Ward 5 Code Camp is aiming to provide adults with the training and experience of an entry-level developer using Ruby on Rails, a popular open-source development language. 'This is a very focused educational program that will help you walk out the door and be employed,' said Greg Meier, co-founder of Global Entrepreneurship Collective Inc., the nonprofit that is organizing the classes." -- Kathleen Gallagher, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel
