After OK tornado, private philanthropy steps up to outfit schools with the storm shelters that public bonds didn't award or districts couldn't afford.

"Spurred by the devastation caused by last week's deadly tornado in Moore, several state lawmakers and business officials are combining efforts to raise money to help pay to provide safe rooms or storm shelters for public schools. Apache Corp., which earlier pledged $500,000 for the effort, issued a corporate challenge Thursday calling on companies and individuals to donate. G.
