In UK, launch of ATM giving has hit a few glitches, with bank reps wondering if the majority of gifts thus far have been accidental.

"Some customers using Royal Bank of Scotland cash machines gave donations to charity 'in error' when it first implemented ATM giving last autumn. The bank, which operates about a quarter of the UK’s cash machines, released figures showing that a total of £347,000 had been given to charity and that total donations were 8,051, giving an average donation of just over £43." -- David Ainsworth, the Third Sector
