Having been sued for fraud by the FTC, the Cancer Fund of America has agreed to go out of business in some way, but it will now be operated by a court-appointed receiver for the present.

"The Cancer Fund of America, a self-described charity based in Tennessee, has tentatively agreed to dissolve after a court battle with the Federal Trade Commission and the attorneys general for all 50 states.

"According to documents filed in U.S. District Court in Phoenix, the charity run by James Reynolds Sr. has agreed to go out of business and be operated by a court-appointed receiver for the time being."--David Fitzpatrick and Drew Griffin, CNN
