Subway founder Peter Buck gives $10 million to his hometown hospital, in Danbury, CT, for a new wing with updated rooms and equipment.

"Peter Buck -- the founder of the Subway sandwich chain -- is giving Western Connecticut Health Network $10 million toward the construction of the new $150 million Tower addition at Danbury Hospital. The addition -- set to officially open Friday -- will be named the Peter and Carmen Lucia Buck Pavilion in honor of Buck and his late wife." -- Robert Miller, the Danbury News-Times
